illusio starts like any other company, with one vision. A vision that, at heart, combines art and technology into a transcendental experience. When John Henry Pepper created the Pepper’s ghost illusion in theatre performances he was setting the stage for a new visual medium. With modern technology that visual medium can now become a new showcase for storytelling.

Our CEO's backstory
Henrique has been in the engineering field for nearly a decade. With both academic research and real-world engineering experience in his repertoire. He was born in Brazil but has traveled to multiple countries throughout his life. He enjoys the art of filmmaking in his spare time. Henrique currently resides in London where he is implementing his passion for filmmaking and engineering to illusio’s Hologram experiences.

The wonder event was the first time where the hologram was displayed to the general public. With an audience of 5,000 people, illusio's hologram stand was the most successful venue of the event! From there on Henrique and his team embarked on a journey to deliver that experience for the rest of the world.
